Since her childhood, she has a passion for jewelry when Georges Braque’s famous exhibition of jewelry took place in Le Louvre museum in Paris.
From her curiosity for geology stands her taste for unusual minerals she implements in her creations.
Anna Tabakhova researches opposition of materials to emphasize the visual impact of the jewels: colored stingrays and baroque pearls, steel cables and flowers of chalcedony, meteorites and star sapphires.
Sparkle, iridescence, chatoyance guide the choice of unusual minerals, « the important thing is the brightness, » said Anna Tabakhova.
The pearls are baroque « to reveal the beauty beyond perfection »; they come from pearl farms practicing sustainable development.
The collection of Anna Tabakhova for men, « but not only », consists of necklaces or bracelets in rubber, black or white and meteorites, jagged by their trip through space, studded with black pearls or star sapphires to be worn « black on black ».
The creations of Anna Tabakhova are unique pieces or small series, manufactured in France for a clientele of collectors all over the world (France, Australia, USA, Caribbean …)
